Abstract

The results the social linguistic of inspections of a language situation in Buryatia concerning mainly a condition of the second state Buryat language are briefly presented in article. On the example of the analysis of the main problems: the Buryat-Russian bilingualism and literary Buryat language – essential deterioration of its functioning is shown. The task of large-scale inspection of conditions of languages of Siberia, identifi-cation of types of language situations is set.
