Abstract
The article gives brief information on the results of folklore-ethnographic expeditions to the North of Kamchatka. It represents the records made in the settlement of Talovka of Penzhinsky region, in the settlement of Khailino of Olyutorsky region. Folklore material consists of tale prose texts: mythological stories about flood, mammoths, snowmen, kala (devil).
